Shearling is a hot seller!

So, I blogged about the ASOS leather aviator jacket with fur trim the other day and now they've completely sold out of all the smaller sizes in black. Seems like the rest of the fashion community are all over this trend. Wish I had the cash to have bought  it straight away when I saw it.
River Island - £ 74.99
ASOS - £55

I was reading 'BlondeBrooklyn's' Blog the other day and she had purchased a gorgeous pair of shearling lined boots, also from ASOS.
I absolutely love these too. I can't quite decide whether I want these or the River Island version. Both are beautiful.
Topshop - £30

Then there are shearling trimmed bags and Topshop have brought out a shearling trimmed satchel. Good old Toppers. Killing two trends with one product. I love a good old school styled satchel.

Do you think a coat, boots and a bag is overkill?

Obviously I won't wear them all at the same time ;)

Nail of the Day: Nude Nails go with Nude Shoes - OPI Cosmo Not Tonight

I,  like so many others, are completely obsessed with nail polish. I love how the right shade can change your mood or add a statement to an outfit.

So the current trend within the beauty blogging community is for a classy Taupe nail colour, or as lollipop26 referred to the shade as 'mud' so that her boss would understand which colour she had on. I absolutely adore those colours too, but I am not quite ready to let go of summer and will be wearing Taupe as Autumn (Fall) quickly approaches.

Yes I am planning my A/W wardrobe with a passion - already missing out on the ASOS Aviator jacket in my size (Completely sold out! Boo!) but I am holding on to the last of the long summer days.

So my current nail polish fits within the taupe spectrum, but it is a nude. Patent nude shoes are hot write now as they lengthen the look of your leg, and Christian Louboutin's famous nude pumps have waiting lists.

The shade I have chosen to go with this trend is OPI's 'Cosmo Not Tonight Honey'.
It isn't new or a trendsetting shade, but I love it. It goes with everything .

Yankee Candle Strawberry Buttercream Large Jar Candle - Review:

So I have been re-arranging our bedroom recently in anticipation of getting a new dressing table/ vanity. My previous dressing table was really a desk and it just wasn't in-keeping with the design and feel I was trying to create in the boudoir.
I want to create a Victorian/ Rococo inspired bedroom with a modern twist with lots of venetian glass and objet d'art.

Whilst I am developing and collecting pieces for my room, I felt an easy update is to buy a new candle.
I am in love with Yankee Candles, they are by far the best candles I have ever burnt. They last for hours and completely fill the whole room with their scent. I have them all round the house. Candles to me, follow the seasons.

I have special Christmas candles, burners and scents that take me from Autumn (Fall), with fragrances such as Autumn leaves, through to Halloween and the harvest season, then into the cold depths of winter with Gingerbread and Shortbread Cookie.

I obviously own the infamous Clean Cotton which is fresh and clean and a must have for Spring, but I was seriously lacking in the Summer scent department.

That was until I procured Yankee's Strawberry Buttercream.
With Wimbledon just passed and a recent trip to the famous 'Betty's Tea Rooms' a Strawberry and Cream fragranced candle seemed very apt.
I have just realised most of my candles (with the exception of holiday specials) are mainly from their 'Food & Spice' line.
I have to say, the scent is simply devine.

It makes the most of the long summer days, before the daylight begins to fade earlier and eariler into Autumn. When the window is open and a summer's breeze mixes with the scent, you can close your eyes and picture the warmth of summer on your skin.

Which is your favourite Yankee Candle scent?

Michael Kors, Pandora & Thomas Sabo Jewelry Haul :

So I have been a very lucky girl recently and have managed to go shopping to pick up a few small Jewelry pieces including a new watch.

My first stop was at Selfridges. I had trawled the internet looking for the perfect new watch for me and stumbled across the Michael Kors Midsized Chronograph watch on both Net-A-Porter, ASOS and Selfridges website.

It was just what I was looking for. I like the larger size, men's style Chronograph watches and it seemed
to be a piece which could look dressed up and classy, but equally casual on a dress down day.

This watch is still available to buy online from a variety of retailers.
Here is the link for Net-A-Porter as Selfridges Online has sold out.

I am a big fan of lollipop26 on Youtube and she can often be seen wearing a gold Michael Kors watch on a lot of her videos. Here is a link to her Blog Lollipop26writes

I then took a trip to Pandora. I have a friend at work who has had one of the original bracelets for a long time and often wears hers on a night out. I think the idea of having something which you collect and build up is a wonderful idea. I had a silver charm bracelet as a child which my parents bought me a new charm every birthday for it. I love it and still have it, but for me a silver bracelet was a little dated.

Then low and behold, Pandora released the leather braided strap Pandora bracelets, to add to their collection. I love them. I only bought one and one charm, but I have emailed my wish list out (A service on the My Pandora website) to friends and family, so that I can begin collecting for a charm bracelet again.

I think I am going to buy another leather strap in white, and just wear a few beads at a time on it. I don't think this style is meant to be filled. They even make a double strap version, but I prefer the single clasped ones in silver. I would love a gold clasp one, but they are very expensive and it is in the end a leather friendship style bracelet.

Then my boyfriend took me to Thomas Sabo, as I really wanted to own one of their Charm Club Bracelets and start collecting their charms. I had seen Youtubes 'Fleurdeforce' wearing hers on a few of her videos and loved the idea of the interchangeable charms to go with different outfits. (Her Blog)

She has the Pearl and Obsidian Stone Bracelets which are super cute. I really wanted the leather strap charm bracelet, but they didn't have it in stock when I went.
So I settled on the reasonably inexpensive elasticated black strap carrier. This reminds me of bracelets I had as a small child, which I would buy on holiday. My boyfriend bought me the Pegasus charm, as I had just watched the film 'Clash of the Titans' and was mesmerized by the beauty of the mythical Pegasus, which no human can ride. Only Demi-Gods can. Love it!

I am going to wear them all together. Now all I need is the 'Links of London' friendship Bracelet and the 'Monica Vinader' Fiji Bracelet and I am set up. Plus obviously collecting more charms for the Pandora and Thomas Sabo.
